That being said, the standing water from the storm drainage is a perfect breeding ground (for the pests, mind you). It sounds like you are on the right track with larvicides; I would recommend Aquabac or Teknar, as they do not pose any danger to humans or pets. The problem is, this part of the drainage does not work well at all. It will be some time beofore I can get back there, dig out the muck around the drains (muck layers formed over years)....
