I had more good luck over the weekend with the spring-loaded mole traps (it basically skewers the moles). I found an active tunnel system, flattened a 6 inch section with my foot, then placed the trap over the flattened section. The next morning, the trap was sprung, and there was a dead mole in the ground. Hopefully, this will keep other moles out of that particular section of my yard.

So far, I have had good luck with these traps. I also used some mole repellent (it comes in a bottle that you attach to your garden hose). So far, the moles have not damaged the area of the yard that I sprayed.
